Happy Holidays from Perry Library!
December has been a big month for celebrations at the library. We welcomed some SNOW in the middle of the month, which caused us to postpone our Holiday party. But party we did!
On Monday, December 21st, we had over 30 children and their grownups for crafts, stories and snacks. The fun continued on the next night as Teens & Tweens club gathered for a Holiday get together. And on Tuesday, Dec. 29th we were treated to 2 Kwanzaa celebrations performed by Nana Vee & Guests. Almost 100 attendees participated in the event, with African music and dancing, homemade crafts and healthy snacks.
Thank you to Nana Vee and her talented friends and to the Friends of the Library for sponsorship of these events!

Homeschoolers Open House - Dec. 9th, 2009
Join us for our 2nd monthly meeting for Homeschooling families on Wednesday, December 9th from 1pm to 3pm. We'll have an informal networking session, where parents and kids can get to know each other. We'll also discuss library resources available for homeschoolers and take a library tour.
