Storyfest 2010!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Once upon a time (actually it was April 27), more than 1,000 people gathered to hear stories, tales and songs by the best storytellers NC has to offer.


 Library Board Member Marion Perry starts the ball rolling with introductions.






Local teller Vernita Terry AKA Nana Vee excites the crowd!










Family Ensemble and Featured Performers The Healing Force put on a musical show!

Featured Performer Terry Rollins performed as the fearsome Blackbeard!















Featured Performer Logie Meachum played guitar, sang and energized the crowd!











Former librarian  and local teller Claire Ramsey told kept them on the edge of the kiva seats.












Featured Performer Ron Jones had everyone's attention with his lightning fast words.











Emmy Winner and local teller Willa Brigham was a crowd favorite!












Louisiana native and local teller Robin Kitson fascinated everyone with interesting accents.













Alice Clark-Sallins AKA Nana Boom Boom gets them on their feet!
